1/6/2024 0 Comments Shadow warrior 3It’s just a shame there’s no “shut the fuck up” filter. It doesn’t do anything to reinvent the wheel or the first-person shooter, but it moves away from the co-op looter-shooter nonsense the second game tried to pull and delivers a short, satisfying campaign that’s fast-paced and close enough to Doom to be considered good. I’m sure I won’t be thinking about Shadow Warrior 3 in five minutes’ time, but I’m okay with that. Check a final look at the final gameplay trailer before the game finally launches on March 1.Warrior 3 launches the offbeat first. There are a few things to come back for, like challenges to help you level up your weapons and skills, but once is enough here. That may seem like a dig at wanting it to end faster, but it’s refreshing to just be able to breeze through something and not have to keep a notebook handy. In fact, one of my favourite things about Shadow Warrior 3 is how quickly it can be beaten. The strict formula and lack of innovation does mean that things start to get stale in the final few levels as the game runs out of new things to do with itself and uses its 52nd dick joke, but blink once after that and you’ll have finished the whole thing anyway.īeing short isn’t a bad thing though. You’re here to kill demons, so that’s what you do. overall, wouldn't recommend it.Again, those additions are nothing that original or groundbreaking, but it’s refreshingly simple to not have to think too hard beyond whatever’s in front of you. They're all prerendered too and the quality isn't that great though. Cutscenes are now in 3rd person view, rather than 1st person view. So yes, it's you, hoji, zilla, motoko (new on). Also THE TOTAL LACK OF the vast majority of characters that came along with sw1-sw2. The total lack of new characters, and the only 1 they've introduced isn't much to speak of. The music was okay, yet the main SW team is not here + nothing that kind of stands out for me. After that you can just put it on the shelf i guess and for this price it's way too costly. How can I find the best prices for Shadow Warrior 3 CD keys compares the cheapest prices of Shadow Warrior 3 on the digital downloads market. so essentially you can have it all in 2 playthrough's, even all achievements. Only this lasts maybe 5 hours, and there's not much to look at or for (even has barely any secrets). This game you can get all upgrades (which are less than sw1) in 2 runs. I never had a sense of danger, or a sense if things got really serious (even for a game with ♥♥♥♥ jokes, it's is perfectly possible, just look at SW1) The world is full on apocalyptic and everybody just strolls & talks about like it's all just a bad morning. ![]() It does kind of take away a lot of seriousness/gravity of things, which sw1 for sure had and sw2 even too in a way. Another main issue is that everything is considered 'funny', like Hoji sounds a lot less serious/considerate and more like a moron on ectasy. ![]() A lot of inconsistencies, some dialogue lines which don't add up with previous games at all. Hoji was also a bit of a letdown in a way. and for the reason they changed i find it a stupid idea, even out of a bussiness perspectiveĪ new voice for Zilla aswell, and some more things that have been slightly altered. a new voice actor for Lo Wang, the new one isn't bad, but it's just that people are used to something else & expect it to return. Fallen corporate shogun Lo Wang and his former employer turned nemesis turned sidekick Orochi. ![]() While it is a good fun but short ride (shorter than sw1 for sure) the combat mechanics & upgrading mechanics are kinda lacking. Shadow Warrior 3 launches the offbeat first-person shooter series to the next level with a seamless blend of fast-paced gunplay, razor-sharp melee combat, and a spectacular free-running movement system. For it's current price, i cannot really recommend it.Īs i have played sw1 & 2 thoroughly, multiple times, this game hasn't really got a replay value.
